We have a new campground we are going to try out. I do believe that it will be a great place to have this gathering.

May 18 – 20, 2007 Piney Creek, NC

The Southern Appalachian Chapter of the TearJerkers “Springtime At Tha River” will be held at River Camp USA in Piney Creek, NC., in beautiful Ashe County….the Christmas tree capital of the world. www.rivercampusa.com Make your reservations ASAP to insure a site on the river bank by calling 1-800-RIVERCAMP . Ask for Joanne and tell her you are with the TearJerker’s group. Joanne can also give you driving directions….better then MapQuest can !!!!

$22.00 for a single site (2 adults, 1 trailer) or $18.00 if you want to double up on a site with someone else (up to 4 adults and 2 trailers) If you are going to double up on a site with someone, MAKE SURE that you tell Joanne when you are making your reservations.

There is fishing (you will need a valid NC Fishing License), canoeing and kayaking available in the New River.

Hey Alan,
You won't be given a site#....However, when you make your reservations, you will get a RIVER FRONT SITE and when they are gone...they are gone. When you arrive at River Camp USA, Joanne will give you your site # at that point. In other words, if she tells you that you are getting a river front site, you WILL be on the water.

Hope this answers your question and Carla and I hope that you and Wanda will be able to join us.

Sid and Side,
Carla and I are both enjoying the camo's. They sure keep you warm on those cold nights and working in the shop  Congrats on Travis' graduation in May :applause: :applause: Our oldest, Carmen, graduated this past December...in fact we had to miss the "Christmas At The Beach" gathering, due to her graduating.

Hope to see you two real soon around a campfire somewhere....

Ross
