Anastasia State Park
Tear Jerkers' Florida Chapter 4th Teardrop Gathering
November 9 -11 2007
Anastasia State Park has a 139 site campground. Each site has a picnic table, an in-ground grill, fire ring and water. All sites are equipped with electricity, if needed. None of the sites have sewer hookups, but there is a dump station located in the campground. Each of the sites is located in a shady hardwood hammock, away from the blowing sand and salt spray of the beach. However, most sites are within walking distance to the beach. There are natural barriers between each site that allow privacy for the visitor.
Reservations for campsites may be made by contacting ReserveAmerica, toll-free, at 1-800 326-3521 (8:00 am to 8:00 pm),
Contact Woody, Tear Jerkers Fla. Director, for more info: tearjerkersfloridachapter at comcast.net

We will be in sites 73-75 at the park again this year. I would highly recomend getting your sites now before it is too late. The last 2 years have proven that you can not wait til the last minute. This park fills up faster than you can imagine

If you want to swap sites I can swap you 75 for 71. When I made the reservations (73-75) I had thought I had gotten 75 also. I guess I did something wrong during the process. OOPS let me know, I was trying to keep the directors (alcohol) in one area.

I was thinking of Deep Frying some Turkeys again and maybe some twinkies also

It seems fitting for that time of year. So I guess we could go with a festive theme for the dinner and have all the trimmings. And yes once again we will see if the "Pirates in the Trees" will stop by for a visit, if nothing else the ninja squirel that plagued Bob D's campsite last time will bless us with his presence once again. Let me know what you think.
Deep frying the turkey will be done with Peanut oil, so if you are allergic to peanuts let us know.

Hi all,
I have some left over stuff from building the Inkwell. I've either changed my mind on what I want or it just didn't work with what I had in mind. I've heard of folks bringing stuff like that to gatherings for swapping. Is this something we do with the Florida tearjerkers?

Hi all,
If anyone needs a site, let me know. I won't be able to go because of the surgery and I had already booked our site.
