The Southern Appalachian Chapter of the TearJerkers “Springtime At Tha River” will be held at River Camp USA in Piney Creek, NC., in beautiful Ashe County….the Christmas tree capital of the world. www.rivercampusa.com Make your reservations ASAP to insure a site on the river bank by calling 1-800-RIVERCAMP . Ask for Joanne and tell her you are with the TearJerker’s group. Joanne can also give you driving directions….better then MapQuest can !!!!

Any fishermen/women coming? I know the New River is superb for smallmouth bass. Is it wade-able at the campground?

It looked to be any where from knee deep to waist deep. I caught several small mouth last time I went just casting from the bank. They were hungry and aggressive.
