What suggestion for saturdays potluck dinner. I was leaning for another Low Country Boil type dinner with everyone bringimg a side dish (dutch oven specialty or BBQ favorite) or dessert like DO cobblers and stuff like thatm

What have you decided for the Saturday night dinner? I would prefer the BBQ but am open to anything. I have to get my shopping done, so need to know soon.

How about a Chilli Cookoff?.  Make what ever you feel like making I am sure it will be good what ever you make. So go crazy and surprise us.Just NO CHILLI :worship: though. Although last time it was very tasty across the board, it did have a lingering  , eyewater  , requiring lots of fresh air and semi hysterical side effects in the confines of a teardrop  . It just brings a smile 8) to my face thinking of everyone getting out 50 times from thier teardrops all night long. Oh yes, thats what fond memories are made from in the teardrop world. :o

I have the cookie mix all ready to go into the oven. Since I am not living in my house (I'm house sitting) I hope this oven works like mine. See you Thursday.

I hear it's been kind of cool in North Florida lately. It was 10 below zero with 12+ inches of snow in Indy last week  . We're looking forward to whatever weather Florida has to offer 8) . See you late Thursday if Mother Nature doesn't get in our way :applause: .

Well it is or was an experience that was to say the least eyewaterng, hysterical, take your breath away and most memorable teardropping moment one could have had. It truly affected everyone there literally. Every gathering should have a memory or two that you can smile and even laugh at a year later and then some

The tearjerkers are at Little Talbot, probably sitting around the campfire after another no doubt soon to be famous potluck. Really sorry I wasn't there to provide a little gastronomical comic relief, like the famous New Mexico red chile. But you can make your own. Got back home about 1:15. The pot luck was good! No Chili! The weather could have been a little warmer but the fires were cozy.

Sounds like you all had a wonderful time. Sorry we couldn't make it this year, hopefully, next.

Any pictures?
