Anyone interested in going to O'Leno State Park, in High Springs,FL on April 24? It is the weekend of the Pioneer Days in town. There are arts and crafts, food music and lots of fun. I have booked a site for that weekend and would love to see others there.

I just got back from camping at Fort DeSota, Great campgrounds, they don't put the big motor homes near the little trailers and tents. I will make potato salad and bring a dessert for Saturday night. See you this weekend. :)

Peggy and I took a drive up Sunday and checked out the park and it looking good :) . I thought the water may have been high with the Ichetucknee , Santa Fe and Suwannee Rivers flooding know . The water OK at O'leno. The burn band is lifted :campfire:

Ft. Desoto is a really nice campground but a little pricey. I think it's around $39 a night after tax. There are some nice beaches around there and good crabbing too.

Ya'll have fun at O'Leno. I'll be camping at Highlands Hammock this weekend. Weather looks like it's gonna be great.
