Alan,
Looking foward to seeing you guys again, missed you two at Racoon Hollar

Mad jack,
If you only knew the story of the "Clem the firewood Guy" incident, lets put it this way, the only thing that as missin' from that moment in time was the dueling banjo music from the movie "Deliverance". And the famous "Squeal like a pig" line  , Ross and I were , how would you say a tab bit nervous :worship: You had to have been there  . It made for a great story though. One of which I personally would NOT wish to repeat  . I would rather fight off the amorous advances of a group of deprived Chupacabras than go back. Ya know what I mean Vern

Lil Talbot is a great place but me thinks I gonna get over in the woods and away from the marsh,, something about that 40 degree temp. and a gail force wind coming off the water is a bit on the chilly side, especially in the early am bath house run,
Yea yea I am getting old and soft so dont even go thar,,
count me in on the Florida run again

Chip,
That is why I asked if everyone wants to stay in the same area or not. If we stay together as a group then where does every body want to camp at. Which side of the campground? My memory kinda failed me on the park layout (due to PJ experience I'm sure) and I don't remember the other side of the campground and the "ROOTS" situation so to speak  Unless you want to camp where BobR did or where Ross did and Ross move to your old spot  It wasn't as breezy where they were.

The front side (Eastern) will give a break from that wind coming off that saltwater marsh. There is some foliageand a berm that breaks the wind in the center of the campground.

I would try to get a site next to where Alan was or where Bob was camped,, the wind was a bit nippy coming off the marsh,, the trees sure made a good wind brake,, course being tough and having the pioneering spirit,, (so to speak) :tipsy: Ill tough it out anywhere I can get,, I am gonna make sure I got a good supply of crown though,, Bufford might drop by again,,,
Jimmy I am gonna have my poncho this time,, Wanda has her own so I can keep my bones warm this trip,, just kidding Wanda,, and I am gonna bring tarp sides to block the winds,,,
Woody,, either side of the campground would be good,, long as we can all be close together,,,
chipper

Chip,
Since I am a creature of habit, I was thinking of camping the same site I had last time or the one you stayed in. I talked to Ross and they might take the spot you have and you reseve the spot they were in acroos the road from where I was. That side of the camp ground was kinda by itself with it's own little road the deadended where we all were it was some what more private than the other loops had a lot more car and foot traffic.

We just made our reservations for a vacation in Ormond Beach and I made sure we scheduled it so we could stop by and meet you all. While we can't bring our teardrop all the way from Oregon for a one week vacation, we sure look forward to meeting everyone.

See you in February.
