Ed emailed these :pictures: to me, so I decided to post them. He has done some :awesome: :hammer: Ed tells me that he is the good looking one on the right and to his left is his friend Bob. Both of them and their wives will be at Little Talbot.

Very nice looking contour... like it very much.... after seeing a few with the return slope at the rear (I was going with a flat/lower back end.. I've decided on a bit of reverse bend on the bottom... gives it a nice finishing touch.

Postby edalma.gulftel.com » Tue Jan 03, 2006 2:42 pm

Hey, Y'all...... Thanks for all the kind words 'bout my (our) Teardrops.
Chipper, the pics I sent were the correct size.... THe body is 10 ft long, the width is 5 ft plus the fenders, and the height of the body is 5 ft.
I have some finished photos that should be here this afternoon, and I will send them out . Thanx again..... Ed Shaffer

Awsome... that reminds me so much of my Baja Benroy, with the 5' high body. How I miss that one...

One of these days I am going to have to apply Roly's 1/4 Nelson build techniques to a new 5' high, 6' wide body...

Mike...
The quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten, so build your teardrop with the best materials...

And you make it sound like a bad thing  I'll bet if you were to go to Talbot and find out for yourself that it (ROOTS) is a darn good thing    But be aware of the menace of the island the dreaded Chupacabra and his night rampages or the attack of the tacky yard ornament pink flamingoes on a stick stirred up into an indiscriminate breeding frenzy with PJ and crown. Last year, well I shudder, at the sight of them at even at the Garden Department at the Wal mart nearby. Oh the HORROR of it all. Heck I can hardly wait to do it all again at Talbot "Roots" and all
