Nice job, and a practical finish too IMO. The hammered paint is tough, I've used it a lot. I have found it will start to oxidize after prolonged exposure (read years) to the sun, but an occasional waxing with decent automotive type wax will stop it for the most part and keep it looking good. I think you came up with a great solution, congrats!

Saw on another forum a reference to Rustoleum's Never Wet. Anyone tried it?
