My tear is only a 4 x 9 home-built but I think you will find the biggest danger towing a tear is forgetting its behind you car or truck. Unless your new tear is very large or grossly overbuilt (heavy) the only place you might notice its behind you is when braking and then it should be minimal. Hope you enjoy your new tear.

Congratulations on your new trailer!

Waiting for "someday" will leave you on your deathbed wondering why you didn't just rearrange your priorities and enjoy the time you had, instead of waiting for a "better" time to come along...

Slow and steady is how I just brought my new trailer back from MI to CA mostly driving 10 mph under the speed limit following the limit for trucks on the interstates. Have fun and don't forget to take pictures when you stop along the way. If someone is going with you I'd even set up a few drive by shots so you can capture your new baby coming and going at your first stop for gas, pulling into your first campground, you get the idea... :)

Thanks all! The drive home was seamless. We parked in front of our home and had a crowd of neighbors within minutes! All of the neighborhood kids piled inside.... It was a riot!

I put all of my kitchen gear in the galley and cannot believe the amount of space. Already loving it!

First trip is two nights next week. Can't wait!

Congrats on getting it home. :applause:
Get used to the crow around it.
Tonight when we arrived in the campground in Santa Rosa we had more than 20 people around Miss Piggy before we got out from the registration office! :R

Might be a good idea after driving a while to stop and feel the hubs ...
