You whine that people are picking on you and you have threatened several times to leave forum for that reason, others have asked you to stay, you claim to have a thick hide yet you are here again looking for rules to protect yourself or use to attack others.... I wonder if maybe its you all along and maybe its just you that are not compatable with the forum.... Sure we all run into times where we get slapped down or insulted, but we pick ourselves up and move on.... IF it is to offensive for you here, why do you stay?.... NO, I am not avocation you leave, but every so often this sort of subject comes up from you... It is becoming very tiresome... What do you do about people on the street or on stores who may offend you, flip them off or take baseball bat and break out the headlights out on their cars.... I don't know what the problem is this time but try to be reasonable about it.... IF you don't like comments some people make, put them in your ignore list....

Quite frankly I have learned to pretty much ignore you because some of the things you suggest are unsafe and scare the hell out of me, but I have never asked you to leave or been downright obnoxious to you... You have always come beck in defense of your opinions, and that is ok, but I choose to put a lot of what you say through a filter and tend to shake my head in wonder how you have survived so long as you have with out grave personal injury.... Take a few days off from forum, take a walk in the grasslands, drive to town and sit in the bar and have a beer, go to store and buy a new winter coat and hat.... Life is good, don't let a few things said here offend you.... In the whole scheme of things in life a few adverse opinions voiced here is not that important....

See, I look at posts like this and I see someone taking a reasonable concern and turning it into an insulting tirade. Nothing Slow's original post required a tirade like this, and none of the other posts took the OP to be a justification to attack Slow. A member of the 1000 club no less. If Slow bothers you that much ignore him, like you say you do. This post makes it seem like what you really do is watch him like a hawk, so you can attack him anytime he leaves an opening.

BTW, I see these statements above as downright obnoxious. If you said those words to someone's face, you would be called an '@**hole"

Go back over the years of all the post from person involved and you will see the underlying current of "woe is me", "I being picked on", "I am misunderstood" and some other problems .... Its time to recognize what the problem is ... Quite frankly this post of yours is part of the problem, not part of the solution....

And if I can not voice my concerns and opinion and you have effectively silenced a voice who just might help see where the problem and solution is... In your "pretty" world its called "politically correct"... My world its call censorship....

And being in 1Grand club has no bearing in what I may think of Slow or YOU....... Being in the 1 Grand or 5 Grand club is only a tally count on how many discussion one has been in.... Sort of like a odometer on your cars speedometer....

It's one thing to disagree on a topic. If you don't think Slow is picked on, then defend your position. It is another to attack him. Discuss the issue, not the person.
You can go back through Slow's posts and while 99% of the responses are on topic, the remainder attack him personally. I think that is his point. I've seen him threatened and belittled, I think its perfectly reasonable for him to be upset by responses like that. That's not censorship, that's not PC, that's just recognizing that personal attacks aren't opinions, they are just bullying tactics.

...we allow quite a bit of latitude in peoples postings 'cause we all are different, come from diff parts of the country and have a wide range of life experiences...sometimes, this causes some to rub others the wrong way but are not actually attacks...just remember the Golden Rule and maybe one other...ya know the one about, if you have nothing good to say...say nothing...and having said that, this thread is locked..........
