1. Strip the trailer down to the frame, saving the door and the 5 windows plus all the hard stryofoam insulation pieces.
2.The wheels sit outside the body, that will be changed to having the body enclosing the wheels which will allow an interior width of 6'. The trailer had a rear kick up which let it go over 3' almost vertical ledges, which is no longer needed. Plus the spare is mounted to the front, remove that, move the front wall ahead approx 10" and extend the rear another 14" and get a 10' long trailer that is 6' wide inside.
3. it sits on 15" rims with 10 1/2" by 31" tires now. I will get a set of either 13 or 14" rims but stick with automotive radials. This will allow the trailer to be rebuilt with a bit more interior height, aiming for at least 5' 10". By TTT standards it is now a -slouchy

4. The passenger side is where the door is located and the window was placed too close to the door, you have to be very careful entering with the window open. it is right at face height so that will be centered a bit more.
5.Right now it has a 2 person chair built against the back wall that slides to form a bed. There is an overhead shelf along the ceiling at the back but it has rarely been used so it goes. I,ve never been happy with the bed but it does allow either of us to get up in the night to exit through the one door built at the front side. I,m thinking of putting in a 6' long seat along both sides. Since space is a consideration they won,t be wide enough to be super comfortable but should suffice. Like most people here we spend a majority of our time outside anyway. When the wife and I camp one side can be used to fill in the middle gap giving us a 6' wide by 6' long bed.
6. If one grand kid comes along, he or she can sleep on the floor between us on an air mattress. i will also frame the wall so a bunk can be placed crossways along the back wall if it is ever necessary.
7. This leaves 4' of usable space up front. I,m thinking a small counter top with a wash basin and storage above for clothes, towels, etc and below for a water jug, stove, etc. When I say small i mean say 2' long along the front drivers side wall and 3' long across the front with a width of about 1 1/2'.
8. Right now the roof is from a starcraft pop up roof I got at auction for $12. It worked great and never leaked a drop but will be to small. I need to either locate a lenght of aluminum or possibly a chunk of steel roofing if it doesnt look too goofy.

9. As it sits now the trailer is equipped with a 12 V rv battery and 12 V lights and is wired for 110 also and it has a stereo. All this will stay but will get upgraded.
Any way thats the plan, and any comments are both welcome and appreciated, i never would have built the trailer in the first place without getting to discover this forum and the people and all the ideas generated here.
