Mike , I don’t know if this applies, but could you cut recesses/pockets in the frame to accept cross members ...1” X 2” s for the roof ... ? Maybe 3/4 the depth of the ply... so they wouldn’t show on the outside ... ? Would make assembly Quick work ...
