I wonder why a fellow with a mobile tube rolling machine wouldn't have a machine that runs on single phase given that three phase is generally available only in commercial areas. That said, I have two three phase converters in my garage. One to run my lathe and one to run the mill. They aren't that complicated to build but there is a bit of an art to it.
Buying your own is cool though and it will last a lifetime.
