Hey my names josh I've been looking at others threads on this site for a few years. I am currently building a 5x10 Benroy(ish) stryle trailer. I started out with a flatbed trailer as i am no good at welding. As of today I am about 80 percent done with the project. I have started an album that has a majority of the pictures I have taken so far. here are a few images

I would love a shout out when you guys go! I have a few long weekends planned for this season, but I am not sure where I want to go yet! Two that are top on my list: Tuweep north rim Grand Canyon. I have been there once before and camped in the back of my car overnight. Canyon de Chelly in Arizona. I have not been there, but I have seen pictures and really want to go!

Any other suggestions for other long weekend trips out from Vegas?

Pahranagat NWR up by Alamo is my favorite spot, but don't tell too many folks. It's one of the not-very-many places around these parts where there are actual green things.

I may have seen you there before! I saw two squared off teardrops camping side by side there a couple times. Was it you?

Thanks for the welcomes. John, I like your build. There are a lot of similarities between yours and mine . I'd love to go out camping with you guys when my rig is done. I'm hoping before August. Between work, a 7 month old, and my other hobbies/projects its hard to dedicate time towards finishing the trailer. I like Mormon pass. Its a rough road in and out. Definitely want decent clearance to get there. It has nice developed camp grounds surrounded by pine trees. I have never seen anyone out there.
