Good Samaritan

Postby nrody » Fri May 09, 2014 1:15 pm

On the way up highway 5 on our way to the Dam Gathering my check book somehow became lost. I realized it was missing on Saturday morning while in camp. I searched high and low but did not find it. I called the bank and put stop payment on the missing checks, I felt a little better but still worried that the missing check book would end up in the wrong hands. Yesterday when I got home from work, in the mail was an envelop containing my missing check book and a note that read "found this in the AM/PM parking lot in Red Bluff. Jessy". I am so grateful that it was found by an honest and honorable person. Blessings to her and her family. Sent a thank you note and a small reward for her efforts. :applause:

Love the happy ending Nancy. :applause: Thanks for sharing. It's really nice to read something so positive compared to most of the things one reads in the news that usually highlight the lesser side of human nature.
