Got a wild hair and decided to make a dream come true.
My wife and I like trail riding on our Polaris RZR and decided instead of pumping a lot of money into
staying in cabins every time we go on a trip to start using the nice RV camping available at the places we go.
We both aren't interested in a large RV and decided to look into toy haulers. Seen some really cool
ones but just not impressed enough with them to lay out the cash they want or upgrade to a truck
to pull them.
So here we are, I had been thinking of converting a cargo trailer and finally pulled the trigger.
I ordered a Lark 7x14 V nose from a local dealer. I checked a couple different places with a
variety of different brands and most looked like the same quality and the ones that were "high end"
type were a bit too heavy for my taste.
I plan to tow this CT with our 99' Dodge Durango, 4x4 5.9L.
What I ordered: 7x14 V nose, tandem, RV door, 2 15x30 windows over axles, insulated, spare tire, 6" extra height, ramp on rear, Indigo Blue finish.
Estimate on weight from vendor, 2200 lbs delivered.
Haven't had much time collecting stuff as I though we had until end of July to wait, but I did pick up a Coleman RV 13500 btu A/C, and a Dometic High profile 310 toilet.
I ordered on 5/21/14, called today to inquire about an after thought about adding extra bracing at roof vent for A/C unit and
was informed, sorry trailer is complete at manufacturer awaiting QC. Looks to be here next week, couple weeks early.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to demo anything but may have to as I'm afraid the roof may not take the weight well without bracing.
Oh, I didn't tell the "Plan" for this trailer. Plan to build a forward shower / bathroom in the nose, cabinet with sink, storage, overhead cabinet with space for microwave,
small apartment refrigerator, full or queen bed in back that is collapsible or fold-able on wall to clear for the RZR to fit.
Also plan to have a fresh water tank for places that don't have water / electric hook ups, black and gray tanks, electric hot water tank or on demand. DC LED lights throughout.
I have other plans but I'm getting a bit long winded and tired, need to hit the hay so I can go to work tomorrow.
I'll update and clarify plans when I can.
