"Solitude"------named after railroad photographer O Winston Link's photo "Solitude Siding".
Bob, recently retired from his job as a custodian in a middle school for the last 28 years, and I (not actually a people person) have worked surrounded by people in big box retail for the last 23 (retirement still far off). So we prefer getting away,----far, far away----looking for a reasonable amount of blissful peace, quiet and sweet "solitude" in our camping adventures. He and I also enjoy anything to do with railroading, including model trains---He's into HO scale, I'm working in N Scale. I was a Fine Art major in school and love Link's photography (Edward Hopper is a favorite too, hence the painting of "Gas" hung in the teardrop). Bob showed me the photo of "Solitude Siding" in an O Winston Link calendar and when he discovered how much I liked the photo, he matted and framed the calendar page for me. Have it hanging in my craft/computer/sewing/train and everything else room. Got to find a place for a small copy of it in the teardrop.
