Hello,
I've seen my last patient and retired from Seattle to northern New Mexico, in the Rockies, at 6,500 ft. near to Las Vegas. Am interested in building a custom teardrop that will be lower, wider and longer with full sized tires and HD suspension. My friend Paul who is the retired head of avionics at Boeing is checking my trailer design now for aerodynamics. I am in the "design and acquire components" phase of this project.
My trailer will be towed by my 4 x 4 for off road usage and Toyota Solara for more civilized camping. Last week I purchased a popup camper which had its top torn off and I have just finished "deconstructing" it for the: door, 3 windows, sink, heater, stove , refrigerator, inverter, gas and water tank etc.I learned about construction design for these units and know I can build a superior unit.
Before going to college I was a High structural Ironworker and certified welder in three different states so look forward to the challenge of building the custom frame from 2 x2 tubing. I am seeking the materials which seem almost rare in this state which is the 4th largest, with the 3rd smallest state population. I look forward to exploring all those national parks in Utah and the Southwest.
Does anyone have A/C recommendations?
Thank you for your attention in this matter.
