She runs on kerosene.

I cannot wait to clean her up and get her burning

(I got a kero lantern as my cooker is kero too (old primus))

Saw one like that at the flea market Sunday, went back twice for a look but didn't pull the trigger

Nice one there. I came by an R5 reflective heater but it only has the lamp head. Puts out a very nice beam of light.

Few Tilleys here in the US. I made my first mantel from a large Coleman before I got a real Tilley one. Also made my own preheat cup as it did not have the Tilley thing to light it.

Very Cool Randy. I found a Tilley, last fall but have not worked on it yet. Too much paying work this winter. I have not gotten to work on any fun projects.

Cool. If you did not get a preheating device with it remember it takes a lot of heat to get it going. A propane torch will probably work. I do not see the bottom bug shield no yours. I use mine to hold a preheat cup I made with a 1 inch copper cap and a 30-06 casing. Works good for me.

There is a close up of my preheat device. I drilled a hole in the cup so the shell would not quit slip through. Pounded it in good and then silver soldered it. Using the stuff they call silver solder at Ace Hardware but from what I have heard is not really but it works for me. I then hack sawed the shell head off and the necked down portion. The case then slips right over the generator real nice. It sets on top of the bug shield and in this position I light the alcohol and let it burn for some time before turning on the kerosene. Then I slide the shield and preheater up to keep bugs out. Works pretty slick if I may brag a little. I put a little of fiberglass insulation in the cup to make it a bit easier to light.

good man! It is cold, possibly snow here.
I was going to make my flashings for my doors today but Mrs Felixx spent the money I had put aside for materials

This means I am not confident about having it outside in the (snow to 100m) system we are experiencing.
