Cammo netting for sun/heat reflection

Any thoughts on using camo netting for sun/heat mitigation?

If you wanted a cover it seems like a silver/metalicized tarp would be more effective.

As long as there is space and air flow between the tarp and your camper it should cast shade that will help with the heat.

Not sure it this will fit the bill.

Although a bit pricey, these are very effective, metal mesh tarp. Good for cooling : reflective and still allowing air flow. We use them for our dogs. They make them in different size. A vendor is listed below. They will make to fit.

I'm thinking more along the lines of the cheap/cool bugout factor. And, if the wind blows it away or it comes apart, no big deal. This is what our military uses in the sandbox - I would think just breaking up the direct line of the sun would make a substantial difference. In desert survival scenarios, a tarp over a tarp with an air gap creates a much cooler environment.
