Hello,
I wanted to take a moment and say Hi. I just joined and thanks Mike for the approval. My Wife and I are planning our first Teardrop build, We have been looking at teardrops for a few years but never pulled the trigger on buying one cause just never found the right one at the right price. So with that said I decided to build one. I have to say the amount of knowledge on this site is unreal. I have been pouring through threads and finding answers to so many questions I've had. We are looking to build a 5x10 teardrop without a Galley, I prefer to use a chuck box.

Hi and welcome to the site. We live in central Florida. Unless time is pressing, you might want to wait and go to the Anastasia State Park (St. Augustine) gathering in early November. There you'll be able to view dozens of different units, all shapes, sizes and styles. I think right now there are like 50 of us showing up. We'll be there with our 5x5x10 and our galley is kind of a "slide out" chuck wagon kitchen setup. You can look at our build thread to see what I mean. The reason I bring up coming to the gathering is that is exactly what we did before we started our build this past February and being able to look at a bunch of units, spend a ton of time asking questions of the owners, we came away with a much better idea on what we wanted and did not want.

Welcome from another Clearwater teardrop fan. Anastasia is going to be great..I think it's 41 trailers. Lots of idea to check out, and this website is like getting a college degree in teardrop building...so welcome and enjoy the journey.
