Kermit

Postby Greg M » Thu Dec 17, 2015 12:38 am

I'm guessing it's this, but I've no idea how Piggy got on there. Of course she'll do anything for her public...

The hosts of the show were about to start looking at the trailers at the Roslin, Washington classic trailer show. Right before they looked at individual trailers they showed a montage of several trailers and there she was for about two seconds. This episode aired on Wednesday the 16th on the GAC channel.
Macy and I saw her at the last IRG. We were the folks from Arkansas who came into Pamplin Grove pulling our drop with a Uhaul rental pickup.

Thanks Ron
Green is a tough color to coordinate with interiors. And also tough to two tone. :(
Kermit has presented some unsolved problems for me, as I have always loved green and have had many green cars in the past.
And some coming up in my future.
The problem with green in automotive paint (or on any metal finish) is that it likes metallic to bring out the best in the other shiny finishes ie. chrome or stainless.
In the Teardrop world it is more suitable to use solid colors. Very tough to find two solid Greens that compliment each other.
But, Kermit has to be Green or it just wouldn't be right. ;)
Merry Christmas

Metallic green with a metallic royal purple pinstripe could work really well, too. Not exactly Kermit's colors, unless you consider the purple to be close to his tongue. Regardless, I think it would look good and be close enough to the theme.
:D

Thanks Dale
Even thought I prefer "Yellow Greens' to "Blue Greens" this one is a bit too "Olive" for what I have pictured in "My" head.
I am leaning towards something more of a "Mint Green" for the light colour and a "Forest Green" for the dark colour.
Wheels are already powder coated a dark green.
