My trailer is a cargo trailer conversion and the door is 1 1/2" thick and hollow luan..

I don't want to mess with the walls at this point as they just got finished up with insulation, paneling, windows, etc..

I was thinking unused driver side rear cargo door.. its pinned to top/bottom..
I was thinking of doing a slide shelf for the 5000 btu a/c to maybe slide in during travel and out when parked/camping..
What type of sliders to you use?? I am looking at 100lbs models on Amzn for like $20/pair.. and are 22" and fully extendable..
Other suggestions or pics on how to do this?? I don't see many on the web(s)..
Would a set of upright AL angles framed out from floor to top of door frame edge with cross bracing on the inside of the door and then shelf brackets on the AL uprights to support the shelf also.. then 3/4" ply wood for the shelf and what for the actual slide drawer would be good to use??
I am looking at a 24" wide hatch.. so a window a/c has the slide out edges to go out to the edge.. I can then wingnut the them open.. (seen that on here)
