The switch works like any other switch excepts it passes 12vdc through a light to ground internal when it is on so you know you have power. That is the only reason there needs to be a ground on it. I will be glad to wire it up for you. I am home all weekend. Bring the spade lugs you have with it. I'll solder it all up good so all you have to do is connect to 12V and ground.

My hot water heater gets to hot while showering then to cool. I thought it was my water pressure.

What kind of Hot water heater do you have, Instant or regular RV type?

Instant -Triton, not sure what kind Tommy has. They may all be the same just "badged" under different names.

Hey I have the
Eccotemp L5 Portable Tankless Water Heater and Outdoor Shower.
I am going to make a point of getting know how this works when the accum gets here,while its in the drive way. From the video I watched it seems like middle gas, low water flow should do it. That will be where I start anyway. I was turning the water flow to max or 3/4. I dunno :? Some times you could make ramen or instant coffee its so hot. :shock: other times not so... :frightened:

let you all know.

Padilen, Howdy;

Sorry, can't help, my only experience is with the RV type. But ... I'd think that adding an ACCUM.
like Tommy is may help merely by keeping a constant pressure on all of the feed lines. Just my thought.

To all,
Finally got it right! :thumbsup:
All sink, pump, and on demand hot waters heater problems solved. Just like that. :D The accum is a MUST. Low flow at the sink... no problem!

Now on to the that other thing..but not today,,, :FNP :FNP :beer:

Thanks Don for the tip on the Harbor Freight sale for that step/stool! 19.95 :thumbsup:

Glad to hear it worked out well. I know the accumulator made a difference for me when I wanted to trickle water. That is why I installed mine. My hot water is not on demand... so never had that problem.

I like the step stool. They are very nice... and will save your back!

I found the Battery monitor that I told you I had for you. I have no idea how it got into a box with some sprinkler heads I have. I was fixing the sprinkler heads today and they were in the box to my surprise. It's yours whenever you want to come get it. It has the LCD voltage read out and the red/yellow/green status LED's.

Tommy B. Howdy;

Good to hear that as far as the water stuff is concerned, you're happy with the results :thumbsup:

I would keep a close eye on those hose clamps you've got at some of your connections I've found
they don't do so well with the thicker walls the PEX has over time. Just something to keep an eye on ...

Hank thanks for the heads up on those hose clamps. I will watch for that.
One tip I found out when it comes to pex and barb fittings is my wife's hair dryer made quick work of it all. Heat up that tubing real good and it form fits easy. Then slip the hose clamp in place and tighten while the tube is hot. I will monitor it for the week under pressure.

I will tidy all that wiring up too. Some is for that new battery volt meter. I need to think about some. Not sure where I want to place it and also not sure how I want to wire up.

Directly to the battery, or to the axillary DC buss panel. With the buss panel I can at least turn off the device by switching off the battery switch, plus it would have a 20 amp fuse already. I think that's what I will do. :thinking:

But where to put it.. :thinking:

Hey Irrowe, Got you message.

Yes it has concerned me about the electric and water all coming together in the same area. I really am going to tidy that all up as I wire in the battery voltmeter. I will post a pic when its all done. But there will always be the potential for a leak I suppose. :worship: it doesn't happen though!

Never easy!

Don getting ready to maybe hand this off to you for wiring up. I don't have a soldering iron.

But a little more work yet but it is pre-wired.

Will make small wooden box like the OD pump switch box.
