So I'm calling it "The Spaceship" because that's what it looks like to me.
The left side of the image above would be the back of the trailer, and the right would be the front.
The RIGHT side of the image above would be the back of the trailer, and the LEFT would be the front.
The more "aerodynamic" side is supposed to be in front.
My requirements were;
0) Be installed on the 5x8 Ironton Northern Tool Trailer
1) Have an area where the height of the camper was five feet
2) Be aerodynamic enough to pull with a V6
3) Be angular enough to be buildable by a relative beginner (me)
What ended up happening was a design that;
0) Comes off the trailer on the forward and aft by two feet each, resulting in a shell length of 12'
1) Has a 5x5x5 volume (assuming the walls had null width)
2) Looks aerodynamic enough to pull behind my Jeep Liberty
3) Looks angular enough to be buildable by me
What does everyone think? Are there any problems I'm not seeing? Any issues?
