My view of this launch sucked:
I had the satellite radio on in the car, CNN, which followed the whole lift-off flawlessly. But because this was a midday launch in heavy sun, all I saw was an itty bitty smoke trail going up.
Other times, it was late in the day, or less sun, or more of something ELSE which made it more spectacular to watch-- where you could see the flame/trail much more impressively.
Well, the main thing is, it lifted off safely.
We'll see if I have that same luck tonight with my 3,000 rockets and 5 mats of firecrackers plus other explosives.
Yes--pyrothechnic danger can be FUN!
