Destruction has accured !
Well demo has started. A completely different idea came to me as I removed screws. So, more planning before remodeling.
My GPX, was test fitted, without any plastics. Odd it's longer than my DRZ was. I did the fender eliminator on the DRZ, before I test fit it. Good thing!
Glad, I'm already charging the GPX rear taillight/license plate holder.

Are you remodeling the interior of Taz? What are you changing?

What is "charging the rear tailight" or is that a typo and you meant "changing"?

Yes typo, changing the rear fender. I really like the stock taillight. But the license plate light is separate and lower. I'm going with a Tusk DS fender. Then I'm switching all my plastic to the IT looking Lt.Blue. And a "Husqvarna" like headlight.
TAZ, since I have to pull down the ceiling to "hide" the fan wires. To do that the baskets and what nots have to come of walls. So I've got some ideas for the V nose area. May or may not happen. I also have a heater my sister gave me that I'd like to install.

I enjoyed reading through your posts. Wish I had seen them back when you were trying to get your trailer in and out of your barn.

A friend of mine who is a welder and does a bunch of work on trailers and quite often has to move them into his shop. He uses his Kubota tractor to do it. Like yours he has the fork attachment. He drilled a hole in one of the forks and puts a ball in it when he needs to move things around. That way he can push stuff into the shop and see whats going on. He uses the forks for moving hay bales to feed his cows the rest of the time.

The end of the season, yesterday. So once again Taz needs to go in.
Second pic is my near screw up. I needed to see if vent cover would clear. I backed about 7" to far. It doesn't! Thankfully it didn't break. I removed the cover, but the motor is still higher than the base. It squeaked in though.
Today there is snow and it's going to accumulate. Teens for low's.

Nice looking build. I've been looking through it, do you have any detail on how you mounted your awning and arms? I just got one for mine and I'm trying to decide how to mount it. I would rather not reinvent the wheel if others have already figured out a good solution.

I just used self drilling self tapping lag screws into frame not sheet.

I'm out of commission for awhile. My start on TAZ was from health issues. My rework is on pause from health issues.
I had surgery today. Bowel blockage from past surgery scar tissue. 6-8 weeks limited activity. But I'll be back doing before then.
This was not the start I had brain mapped for 2019.
But my life's plan is God's so he is in control.

So sorry to hear you are having health issues. I'll pray you have a quick recovery. I know that must be difficult. Hopefully you have someone nearby to look after you a bit while you recover! It sounds like you have the correct attitude in any case. He is in control whether we'll admit to it or not and we are just passing through. Each day is a gift.

Sorry to hear of your health issues. I've been there and done that twice now. They do a lot better job with resectioning now than what they used to.

Good that you got it taken care of. The surgery is hard, but it sure beats the blockage pain. Hopefully your won't ever have another problem with it.

Be sure and take it easy so that you don't build a bunch of extra scar tissue. Hang in there, it does take a long time to really get fully recovered. Don't be discouraged but expect to give yourself 6 months to a year. After that it is great sailing! Take care and God Bless!
