Victoria, Australia?
Over seven years in an owner-builder co-op of multiple families, dozens of home-schooled free range kiddos, mostly in small trailers but also tents then humpies from tip materials
carting water from a public tap 5mi down a washed out road, collecting rainwater, dam water for washing,
dunny a movable bucket in the woods
cutting our own firewood, cooking over open campfires, kiddies up at 5am making pancakes for the 'rents!
later lugging big propane bottles
starting out only electrickery was swapping vehicle Starter batts out when heading to Melbourne.
later massive ex Telecom 2V cells picked up from surplus auctions
boy were solar panels pricey!
Great memories. . .
I wojld take it as a compliment, but been a very long time since I deserved that sobriquet.MickinOz wrote:Oh no! Look out chaps, we got us a Bloody Hippy!
