Can you come down and teach me how to run a lathe? You can camp here on my place, fish during the day and teach me lathe work in the evenings.tony.latham wrote:Well... I built a hammer.
Now, what shall I do with it?

Well all but one were "out of date". OMG they will probably blow up if filled ! The one I was able to get done and the fill was $21 and change. I took the remaining ones and made a 12 mile trip to the ag propane dealer the next town over. They explained they also could only fill them if they were re-certified but their sister plant could do that 30 miles farther north and then fill them. Well I drove the 30 miles to find that re-certification was not a courtesy it was a $25.00 charge and additional for the fill.( had been running $20 for my #20 pounder sized ones) So if you do the math that is $540.00 to fill the remaining twelve tanks. Guess I am going to look into a big tank being set
