Homemade teardrop camper VIN,registration

Hello All,
I am from calgary Alberta Canada I am looking to make my own teardrop or square drop 6x10 camper from scratch even frame I will use 3500lb axle please guide me in right direction how I can get the VIN for it,is this is very lengthy process to get the vin number for homemade travel trailer in Alberta please advise and help.

Well, I'm in the middle of Idaho, so I'm not your guy for the answer. Here, it's all about keeping receipts so they can figure out what you didn't pay sales tax on.

If it were me, I'd go to your local motor vehicle office--we call it the DMV here--and ask them. Hopefully, it's a simple answer.
