Cool TV/AM/FM/Weather Under Counter

Postby SkipperSue » Tue Jan 09, 2007 6:17 am

Hey All,
I found this little system yesterday at K-Mart.

http://www.gpx.com/shop_ind.php?id=299&pid=114

The were selling for $119.95.
I picked one up, this looks like it might be just the thing to use for the TD.

Well,
I started playing World of Warcraft online again. It had been like 5 months since I quit and I missed it and my friends there. I guess it's also due to the colder weather, cold in my shop. This has been an addiction for me that's hard to kick.

Heya Mary,
This TV has the AC cord and also it has the 12 volt socket in the back, so you could use either one. It didn't come with a power adapter but you wouldn't need one if your TD is wired for 12 volt, you could just make a plug and feed directly off the TD.
I need to get back out to the shop and get working again. Right now I got all the interior skin in, got the rear galley cabnet framework and countertop done. I'll see about getting some update pics of it later this night.

Well, it doesn't have the CD/DVD player in it, just the imputs. Still it's a niffty little unit. I have a little DVD payer I will set in the cabnet right above it.

I thought the same thing. They closed all of ours, but I did see one when I was back in FL.

I don't see the speakers on that TV. And that leads me to a question...I should post in a separate thread.....

K-mart better still be around..they own Sears-roebuck, and if sears goes belly up, there goes your craftsman guarantee.

I've heard the Craftsman guarantee is very limited if not already gone.

Strictly habd tools, wrenches, ratchets and the like. If you break a ratchet, they give you a rebuilt one. Back in the day, they would pull one off the shelf and swap it with your broken one.
