Dear Auntie M,
Can you see why some people don't get all the time they need/should in their shop to finish their teardrops....??

What follows is a true story about how this wonderful site can suck you in and you never want to leave it! :R So many TD people, so little time!

When I recommended Dean go lighter on the computer time and heavier on the shop time and time with his loved ones, he reluctantly complied but lamented that he didn't want to miss what was going on. Since he began posting on this site (Way back then I just lurked and read over his shoulder on occasion) the frequency of postings and amount of people has grown enormously. It's great to hear from so many folks and see all the fantastic things they do in life. And meeting them and camping with them is truly awesome. Monitoring his useage seems to be working..... somewhat. He does try to spend more time with the family rather than the "Web Family". :) and he still loves to get into the thick of things.

Maybe we should have a thread like they do for the daily soap operas... a synopsis of what has been said and done on this site, the READer's Digest Condensed Version of the Teardrop Forum--just kidding.
 "Days in Teardrop Time"
So, when you razz him about finishing his TD, know that I do too. And when you post it on this site, remember it's just like baiting a hook--sooner or later he'll bite! Keep on posting and working on the TDs.

 ;) Ya just gotta arrange his workspace better.
I have a perfect working triangle. My winter hobbies/work mostly involve being in this room. I can even work on two things at at time on the computer now. :D

My alternative is to watch TV, which I find hard to do, especially in the daytme. I am not allowed to try to change the order or rearrange my house cause I make a mess. So I am left to play with the baby, who loves the smilies, rack up numbers, and sew or draw or work on the great American novel (a dismal dramatic failure in the making)
