old tiny trailer heater question

Dragged out my heater, it is missing the outside piece that I believe keeps the rain out. I can guess what it looks like, and here is what I have.

If someone has a picture of the missing piece I would be thankful. Could I recess the whole mess and put a vented cover over it? It appears to have both an intake and exhaust in it.

That does look like an outer air-intake pipe with an exhaust pipe nested within it. If there's no fan, this is a "gravity" or natural convection furnace... probably no longer available. If you have the brand name, posting that might trigger some ideas.

The tag on says its a Duo-therm made in calif.

Thanks for the picture Larry. I think I can fab up a box and cover kind of like that. Mine originally stuck out, but that would look better.
