Heikki, simply type annealing into the box in the search section for lotssa info...also the trim you are going to buy is probably "dead" soft and wil bend easily by fastening one end in place and bending it around the curve of the profile...if it does not bend easily(and hold 90% of the bend), you will havvta anneal it...those are neat little gadgets that are being talked about but not needed for just one trailer............

That is a VERY good result. 1000 Times better that what i have done bending by hand. I've been pondering the purchasing of the shrinker/stretcher from HF myself. Seems awful pricey for just one tear project though.

Dear All,

One teardrop! Hah! You think you can build only one teardrop!!! Chances are you have a disease, so just count on needing this tool for the next two teardrops.

A friend of my brother's upon seeing my extensive shop asked if the machines paid for themselves (lathe, mill, tig, mig, etc, etc, etc). My answer was "no, but neither does a Winnebago". Getting what you want out of life (however, not at the expense of others) is what really counts! I want flawless trim.
Cheers,
Gus
