I have a 1997 GMC half ton PU. Trouble is if I leave the lights on and turn off the key, silence, no buzzer. Did the Canadian models have a buzzer? Where do I find the unplugged buzzer?

Someone else built a teardrop shaped cargo trailer for their motorcycle, on the 40" frame, but that is the only other one I know of.Roly Nelson wrote:Del, are you and I the only member of the 40" wide club? 40" widers, feel free to chime in here.
Roly, 40" wide and proud of it.
Found it. Went to the dealer and they wanted $33 dollars for it. Next I went to a junk yard that tends to have late models (the 90s are late model here in Yakivegas). Found one in a s-10, took it to the counter, and the man said I could have it, no charge. Came home and tried it, success.Lesbest wrote:That buzzer should be the same one the key uses and is a box about 1/2 in. thick and about 1 1/2 inches square. It is usually plugged into the fuse block that is above your left foot. It could be bloe, grey or black. When you unplug it it usually has 5 to 6 electrical spades on it. They do wear out.
Good luck.
