According to Yahoo maps, Reno to Houston is approximately 1938.5 miles which would take 28 hours and 49 minutes to drive.

It could not, however, provide driving directions to Reno from Finland.

Reno to San Bernadino: Google says 66.9 mi – about 1 hour 44 mins.

It'd take longer though.

No Visa's internally. Just border checkpoints in the middle of California. Dunno why they're not on the border...

EDIT: Where the heck did I get 66 mi from? It's an 8 hour drive.... Hmmm need more coffee......

Google was wrong.... Coudn't be me... nope.. Mustabeen google. swissarmygirl is a much better purveyor of information...

If I had seen this thread an hour or two earlier, the above post would have come from ME.

Reno was our first stop after IRG. Our next stop was Laughlin, we made a turn East before we got to San Bernadino so we didn't make it quite that far. There isn't a whole lot on that route, a lot of beautiful secenry but not many towns. We do have some members on thst route but none of the "Regulars" that I can think of.

Hey, bummer, neither can Google maps, anymore - if you asked it to give directions from somewhere in the USA to Britain, it used to guide you to the docks in New York and then tell you to swim across the Atlantic - do you think the product liability lawyers told 'em that joke had to go before someone tried it for real?
