Hi all,

Finally I have some time to get some pictures uploaded of my Picolo replica.

Now a lot of hours further she looks quite different..

And what has been done so far:

- All bearings and bushings in the suspention are changed
- The 220V AC is removed. In the future I will use 12V from my car or an external 12V supply in the backtent
- The nasty hole in the side is closed (there where te mainssocket was)
- 2 new markerlights are fitted to the front
- new mudguards are fitted
- all the sides and edges are repaired and filled where nessesary
- The whole exterior was painted in a nice 2 tone green and cream paintjob

What still needs to be done:

- Isolating the roof and front and fit a new inner roof..
- Apply filler and paint the interior
- build a new lid at the back (a project of my father)
- make a new sleeping matras
- build in a cabinet at the frond of the car (now it is just a shelf)
- wire up te 12 electrics (only some lights are fitted)
- seal off the exterior...

So much needs to be done the next months... In april she needs to be finished for the maiden trip.....

I will keep you all posted...

I love the trailer. Real cool lines. My only question is , once you are in it what do you do for air flow? I don't see any obvious venting. Keep up the good work!

During camping the lid at the back will be open and the open space between the lid and the care will be sealed of with fabric like a tent. There I will add some ventilation.. Also under the Aluminium rosters on both the sides there are ventilation openings... So no problems here....
