But let me say… packing for a rabid coon or a vicious dog is a very long way from throw’n down on another man.
When you kill a man, you take away everything he owns and everything would have ever owned. You not only kill him but every child he would have had. It’s not a small thing and once done, can never be undone.
It’s an easy thing to say and it’s even an easy thing to do. But the living with it after, that’s what’s hard. I have killed many men; I am now in the double digits and I see every one of them everynight when I close my eyes. It leaves a hole in your soul that you can never fill. I never take carrying a gun lightly and neither should any of you.
