Teardrop for three plus Golden?

Postby green_skinnydipper » Tue Jun 24, 2008 5:27 pm

I'm very wet behind the ears. Just discovered teardrops yesterday and spent the entire workday surfing the net for ideas.

I like the lil diner, I wondering if I can use that basic design but add some type of a drop down bunk, or a slide out bunk for my now seven year old son. ALso need to find a place for a dog crate for a Golden Retriever.

Any ideas?

Peace,
Joel

Of course you can. Check out Jeanette's teardrop as a starting point. It's in the Hall of Fame. or click here

Thank you Mike, Jeanette's teardrop is awsome!

I also found the cubnewH2.dxf file, is it possible to get this file in .dwg? I would like to make it bit longer and wider, maybe 5 x 10 so I can add the bunk, the 5' wide should allow my son to grow without outgrowing for a year or two.

Peace,
Joel

Joel, I can send you that but I'll need to know your email address - send it to me in a PM (and remember to say which file you want).

Talking about a place for the dog~~~ Didn't someone on here make a teardrop dog house that was transported inside theirs and put out for the dog upon arrival.. Hell I might have been dreaming I have teardrop nightmares all the time. "Gotta add this " "gotta add that " someone please wake me up !!!

   I believe we have a couple of dog houses. I am trying to remember who just recently built a slide out with a dog shelf for the child. Wouldn't work for a large dog but the slide out with a bunk would.

This is EZ's Rimple and has great bunks.
