Trailer Trash

No, I don't mean us! I made a trash bag holder for my tear. I had some aluminum mounting extrusion left over from my side table, so I used some of it and made a simple wooden frame to hold a plastic bag. It has 1/4" dowels to hook the bag's handles over. It easily lifts off and on, and stows on the counter when towing. It will help get rid of those Wal-Mart bags. Bigger bags will work with it too. Here's a pic.

Very clever!
I once made something similar to hold 4 of the little plastic shopping bags for all my recyclables.

Just watch out for raccoons..... :o That looks like its just their height!

It will be under the locked hatch at night, so it won't attract any animals (I hope)!

It reminded me of when Honeyman and I went to Rickett's Glen last year. We had a bag similar to that hanging on my car (right behind Honeyman's chair). We were sitting back, enjoying our campfire, when we heard the bag rustling. It was a raccoon, curious to see what was in there! Scared the bejeezus outta Honeyman...
He ran away too fast for me to get a picture....uh, the raccoon that is.
