Nice fine on the cooking set. The little pan will clean up just find. Normally I just throw them in the BBQ and season them, but with the wood handle you'll need to be careful. I'd use a bit of steel wool to clean up the rust spots, then start cooking in it. The seasoning will start to build and before long it will look perfect. Of course it helps to cook fatty foods early on.
If the handle screws off, then reseason it in the BBQ and reassemble.
