Dana, good start on the tear. Cute pup. What size tear are you building? You should think about coming to the Hillsboro River State Park gathering we are having over July 4th in Tampa, FL. I counted 7 sites reserved. http://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?t=27499&highlight=hillsboro. If you have questions ask Becca, this is her home turf.

Thanks Lisa (the pup). I am building a 6x10 (it keeps growing). Its going to be a woodie but the top of the roof may be metal. Its more of a retro style than a tear. I hope to have more pictures up soon. And I would love to go to the July 4th thing but its kinda a shindig here at the house for us. By the way I still have a lot of family in Washington, NC and out on the Outer Banks.

MsDana wrote:Ok Miriam..working in the fields is tough work. I remember hoeing my dads tomato plants. They would be longggg rows. Every time i looked up the row got longer. I actually grew up on the waterfront in Virginia. Our front porch was about 10' from the break wall. We actually lived on the water. My bedroom faced the Chesapeake Bay. It was really cold in the winter and heaven in the summer. My summers were riding my pony all over creation (gosh cant let kids run like that now) and swimming and fishing. My long blond hair was full of spindrift all the time when I was a kid. who needed a bath..I was almost permanently wrinkled from water..roflI was such a tomboy.
