I keep expecting someone to show up with wings made of lucite with lights in them to use as running lights at night. They would be cool around the campground too..

Arne,
'59 Cadillac... because you can. It's when rockets were the rage and man was destined to travel the stars... Flash Gordon. You needed wings to fly baby! 8)

Nice wings, I removed mine and cut them down in size as I didn't like the scale. I will post pics tonight.

Hey Ralf !!!! Are you going to the Cheat River festival this year? (May, 2) I will be there with my tear over at the PS Composites booth (camped out back of the booth) if you go stop by and say hey! I should be there at noon or so on Friday and all day Saturday, well at least Saturday night. :D

Oh, cool. Now I, too, have an incentive to go the Cheat Fest. I've always wanted to go, but haven't been able to. If I can get there, I'll stop by.

Now that's interesting!
Could a router and a steady hand be used for making the holes for the lights to be in?
Oh! or just drill small holes for Christmas tree lights and make a design in the lucite.

Kirkman, sorry I can't make Cheat festival. It is hard for me to justify travel with the the New, Meadow and Gauley in my backyard. I am pretty much a fair weather boater although my 16 year old asked today when we were going boating. Come on down, give me a call, I'm the only lawyer named Ralph in the phonebook.

I reduced the size of the wing for scale. I have been gone from this site for a long time enjoying going to car shows and camping in my tear drop. It still draws a crowd.[/img]

I also forgot how to post pictures. Stand by.
