Window a/c's are cheap. I camp enough so I would not want to be moving it out of the house and into the t/d just to save $100. And then back into the house when I return.
Also, not sure, but I'm going to start closing up the t/d tight when I use the pet cool. There is a thermostat bulb in the return line but think it gets confused by me leaving windows open. And, there is enough outside air drawn into the p/c so I'm not worried about oxy starvation... I think if your t/d is insulated, the p/c should handle 95 degrees. But, I think I remember someone had a problem with it icing up at high temps.. and maybe high humidity.
