Anybody building in Kansas City this fall??

Postby TwilightLane » Fri Aug 28, 2009 3:50 pm

Hey everyone!
I lurk a lot and appreciate all the info everyone shares. My wife and I are gearing up to biuld our 8' cubbie this fall. (We are making ourselves clean up the garage AND basement first - hahaha).

Any particular advice on building a cubbie is appreciated.

Anyone else in the area getting ready to build this winter? I'm thinking we can share the moral support! And I might want to borrow some clamps - hahaha.

Hey Rob,
I hope my CFO is not listening, but a teardrop build is a great way/excuse to build up your woodworking tool inventory. I know I've bought a bunch of clamps and other tools for my build!

Not building and not in KC but look under the north central thread and see that a bunch of us are camping in a couple of weeks at Crawford SP .
You should come out and do some looking and visiting.. we'd love to have you

Rob & Lori,

Just do it... you'll have lots of fun, and make plenty of good memories too.

Oh yea, take lots of photos.

Mike...

Thanks everyone!

We've been invited down for the Crawford outing. We have to see how the weekend shapes up, but we are really hoping to make it!!

I'll be sure to start up a build thread. This site is soooo great. I can't wait to meet & greet face to face with everyone.
