It was a great test because I would have passed the water hose test with flying colors but this test was the worst of the worst, so now I know. Isn't that supposed to be good? All will be fixed soon, just glad to be camping, I think my second trip is called a sophomore slump ;)

Thomas, Great news that no permanent damage was done!

2bits wrote:I decided to post an update because I rearranged my garage so the teardrop faces the "correct" direction. Before I was "driving" the teardrop in, but after two times camping and having to turn it around to get it out and hooked up, I realized that it needed to be backed in and parked that way. That should save me some headaches in the future and I plan on doing camping trip #3 this Sunday!

Looks like you have plenty of room in your garage to start build #2!

Shhh. Don't mention that rule!

My wife has begun reading these threads. She has been asking me why my parts shelf has become more crowded with parts even though I've been installing them in my teardrop.

Little does she know....

I was wondering why the water balloon was getting bigger... and then it hit me.

You have two weeks to get that trim done before the "Senior Prom" camping trip -- LCG4.

I hope I get to the decorative trim, but I will be focusing on the waterproofing trim first, lets see how far I get

I am not "planning" on a 2nd build, just expecting it to happen whether I plan for it or not! haha

If you don't get your TD perfect before LCG, we will all laugh at you. You do realize that, don't you?

Been reading this thread.

Love the finish on the trailer.

Oh, and I love the truck.
Greetings from England.

Rian.

Hoping to get it all done in time.

Let me know if you need a hand in the next few weeks. Sadly, I have some free time, and my fees are reasonable

It would be nice to see your TD done for LCG. It would have a shot at an award, IMO.

Wow~ ummm  Those are some pretty meaningful comments there, I am thankful to you guys who inspire me so much and take an interest, and think it is a cool project too! I am speechless!

Well, I was going to squeeze in one last camping trip tonight since I work for BofA I have Columbus day off, but the rain came in and I think I learned my lesson about that so I canceled that deal BUT since I am off all day tomorrow let's see what I can get done! All my Saturdays are full the next couple weeks, so that leaves me all day tomorrow and two Sundays, plus misc weekday evenings for the teardrop.

Oh and Tink Daddy, you scared me with your 12 days! ! !I had to double check! It is three weeks (18 days) not two weeks whew, I 'bout had a heart attack!!

CaseyD I might inquire for your assistance one Sunday if you were serious. Just let me know what you like to drink and we'll save it for when the power tools are done, but hey we can sand stain and polyurethane pretty lit no problem! ! ! I'll PM ya

I don't know what calender you are using but in my world today is the 11th and we plan on getting there on the 22nd. That's 11 days my friend. Feel free to have that heart attack now.
