Have a teardrop or a trailer for sale? Need one? Post here...

Postby Mike_La » Fri Mar 05, 2010 6:56 am

EXAMPLE ONLY........Not for sale.

This is one of the doors, for my build, after installing a window and flush mount door latch. The door measures 40" x 29" x 2" deep. The window measures 35" x 18".

This is just an example of what your door(s) might look like with a window and door latch installed.

Doors

Postby Pam M » Sun Mar 07, 2010 1:36 pm

Mike

What doors do you have available at the moment for sale? Or withing the next week or so, I am getting ready to do the rough framing and need to decide which direction I am heading.

I am looking for 2 cabin doors and more than likely 2 more doors for pass through storage on my 10' Benroy

Thx
Pam

Mike,

Do you ever get any doors like 30" wide x 50" tall? If so, would like a price and shipping cost.

Steve, sometimes I do, but it's rare. I'll try my sources and let you know.

Pam,
At present, I have one pair left. They fit walls up to 1" thickness.

1. For now, I have 1 pair left in stock. Two others have inquired about them and now I'm waiting for one them to reply.

2. Tri State Surplus, on Ebay.

I may have a couple pairs in the near future.

Doors

Postby Pam M » Mon Mar 08, 2010 12:38 pm

Bummer; my walls are not constructed YET but I anticipate them being:

1/2 for outter birch wood
1 1/2" insulation
1/8" for interior luan skin

That is over 2" thick; and I guess as I am typing this, "to me" that sounds THICK..... DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY THOUGHTS ON THAT? It just sounds "too" thick I guess.

Will you be getting anymore doors or windows in?

I "think" I am looking for 2 pedestrian doors with all four corners rounded, and a window in it "like" your own personal ones.. :)

Pam,
These door will work on any thickness wall. I stated "up to 1" thick, meaning the door frame is 1" in depth. None of the doors I sell have windows or latches installed. You'll have to install your own. It's a very easy process.
