central Indiana newbies

Hello everyone. Hope this is the right place to post this.
We are Dave and Barb. We have always loved the teardrops and dreamed of owning one in the future. Well the future is here since we have recently retired and we found someone to custom build one for us. Can't wait for it to be done.
We plan to drop by Whitewater SP at the end of July to meet all the other "a little off-center" people like us.
Very interested to learn about the Hoosier chapter of Tear Jerkers and will probably have lots of questions for you all....like how do you join?

Hey, welcome aboard! We are new as well, having joined recently. MountainBiker (husband Andrew) and I both are enjoying this forum so much. There is a wealth of infomation and always something fun to read. Oh, and pictures are always welcome

Welcome Dave & Barb. Glad to hear there are more Hoosier campers out there.

When you stop in to White Water please plan to attend the "Wine & Cheese" on Friday or the Pitch-in dinner on Saturday.

These are held in the early evening starting around 5:00-5:30 on Friday and at 6:00pm on Saturday. You'll enjoy our group since there are a big variety of ages and stages in the group.

A lot of us will be there starting on Thursday and leaving on Sunday.

BTW, You have just joined the Hoosier Chapter of "Tearjerkers" .... That was easy, wasn't it??

Having a teardrop or other style camp trailer and the enthusiasm is all you need.

There are no dues and no meetings (other than gatherings which are based on your schedule and desire to attend).

Hi, Barb and Dave--Found you by searching "Barb and Dave" using the Search link above (what a great invention!). So great to camp next to you at the Hoosier gathering this week! Last night we were wondering how the game with the pennies went. Would have loved to stay, but by coming home yesterday I got all the laundry done, and connected with some people at church that I needed to, also.

Anyway, I REALLY hope our paths will cross again! Mark (and this surprises me) has thanked me repeatedly for joining "the cult" and arranging to go to gatherings, so I imagine we'll venture out to some more.

I think your teardrop is just so cute and that your builder did you proud! I have window envy.
