where did you get the vent and how much? I'm in nsw and getting stuff together to build one

Hi Marcel, The vent is by Fiamma. You should be able to pick one up from one of your local van suppliers. Make sure you take plentyof $$$$$'s with you. I paid $170.00AUD for mine. The fan runs both ways but is no good for sleeping with; it sounds like a B52 just prior to take off when running
