New member here, quickly lurking around for some ideas and inspiration. So far, am very amazed at some of the projects. I'm here cause my wife wanted a "Little Guy" teardrop, but with the economy upwards of 9-10k is way too much cash to part with.
I think myself capable of construction projects, so am very curious about a teradrop project. My ultimate goal is to build a plans built airplane, so this would be a good primer for that project. Right now I am about 90% committed to doing this, and have done most the research I need to kick it off. Leaning toward the Generic Benroy with some mods to the profile and size. Thank goodness for CAD software where making idea changes is quick and visual.
The goal is to have it ready by the end of July so I can tow it too Oshkosh for the greatest airshow on earth. What better place to take a home-built trailer?
